Context
Adopted in 2008 upon Kosovo's declaration of independence. The anthem is instrumental only, chosen deliberately to avoid favoring any particular ethnic group in Kosovo's multiethnic population. Composed by Mendi Mengjiqi, it was selected through a public competition.
