• 3. The second verse asks Seychellois to preserve the beauty of their country and the riches of their ocean, fitting for a nation of 115 islands spread across the Indian Ocean
• 4. The anthem was first recorded in Paris in March 1996 by the Orchestre de la Garde républicaine, in an orchestral arrangement by the Russian composer and conductor Anatoli Savatinov
